Dr. Muhammad Hassan, MD

A distinguished graduate of ASMDC, Dr. Muhammad Hassan is completing his Internal medicine residency at Nuvance Health - Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York.  Originally from Toronto, Canada, he has developed a solid foundation in clinical excellence, with a commitment to advancing medical knowledge through patient care, research, and community leadership.

As the Resident Physician Research Chair of GastroLink Scholars, a community connecting aspiring gastroenterologists through research and mentorship, he promotes skill development and collaborative projects in gastroenterology. This group is an integrated platform fostering high-quality research and innovation. With multiple publications and presentations at national conferences, he demonstrates a dedication to improving patient outcomes. His research interests focus on bridging gaps in gastrointestinal disease management to enhance treatment protocols and patient prognosis.

In addition to his academic and clinical pursuits, Dr. Hassan is deeply committed to community service. He is interested in volunteer initiatives that address healthcare disparities in underserved neighborhoods. As he continues his journey in internal medicine, he remains dedicated to expanding his knowledge in gastroenterology and contributing to impactful research in this specialty.
